FAQs

What is ABA therapy?

ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement.

How do I know if ABA therapy is right for my child?

ABA therapy is beneficial for children with autism and other developmental delays. If your child struggles with communication, social skills, or challenging behaviors, an initial consultation can help determine if ABA is a good fit.

How long does my child need ABA therapy?

The duration of therapy depends on your child's needs, progress, and goals. Some children benefit from short-term therapy, while others may need ongoing support for several years.

What happens during an ABA session?

ABA therapy sessions provide personalized support from trained professionals to help children develop social-emotional skills, life skills and conversational skills  through fun activities, play, and real-life practice. Clinicians use encouragement and rewards to teach new skills in a supportive way. Parents also learn strategies to help their child at home. The goal is to help children grow, gain confidence, and become more independent in daily life

Will my child just be doing drills and table work?

No, ABA therapy uses a mix of structured learning and natural environment teaching, meaning your child will learn through play, everyday interactions, and engaging activities.

Will I, as a parent, be involved in therapy?

Absolutely! Parent training and involvement are key to success. We provide strategies and guidance to help you support your child at home and in everyday situations.

How do you measure my child’s progress?

We use data collection, regular assessments, and ongoing communication with parents to track progress and adjust goals as needed.

Does insurance cover ABA therapy?

Most insurance plans cover ABA therapy for children with an autism diagnosis. We can help verify your benefits and guide you through the process.
